Wedding of Steve & Harriet

Weddings are all different and unique in their own special way and I was delighted to be able to capture the day for Steve and Harriet.

The day started early arriving in enough time to capture Harriet and her bridesmaids having her hair and make-up done and to allow time for me to photograph the all important dress, accessories and flowers before the final preparations and everyone was in happy spirits looking forward to a lovely day to see the months of preparation become a realisation.

We had previously discussed the photographic requirements and gone for simple, classic images in a mixture of colour and monochrome as well as some fun images later on in the day. I have to say Harriet looked absolutely stunning and after a few photos with her dad it was time for me to head over to the church to take some photos of Steve with his best-man putting their buttonholes on and of the church and guests prior to the ceremony.

Then finally the time had come, everyone into the church and off I went to await the arrival of the bridal party as they walked up the path to the church.

Unfortunately no photos were allowed during the ceremony until the signing of the register. Despite the horrendous weather we had been having the skies cleared and we had a get session in the grounds of the church before moving onto the reception venue for the remainder of the celebrations.
